This exceptional left hand drive 355 Challenge car has been quite
lightly raced in it's life. Originally supplied to Belgium and prepared
by Garage Francorchamps, it then came to the UK, and was used on Club
Fiorano track days.
In recent years it has been raced most successfully in the UK. The
car has enjoyed 9 class or race wins from 12 starts in 2008 / 2009
driven by Gary Culver. The car was meticulously prepared and maintained
for Gary by David Preston. Eligible for the new Pirelli Ferrari Open
series in the UK, as well as Inter-Marque, Britcar, GT cup etc. and
many series overseas.
The car is fitted with all 1998 up-grades, and comes with a spare
set of wheels.
This is not the usual old race car. We believe that the car has never
been seriously damaged, and has it's original panels etc. The body
shut lines are excellent. It is in superb condition, needs nothing,
and is entirely ready to race and win again. In fact it raced at Snetterton
on 10th/11th April 2010 in the inaugural Ferrari Open series, and
ran faultlessly.
