Just like buses really., We don't have an MGB for years, then we
have two "pull handle" cars in quick succession. This GHN3
car was first registered on 8th May 1963. It enjoyed one owner for
some 43 years, and is basically un-restored apart from a recent repaint.
It was waxoiled very early on (possibly from new) and has survived
in amazingly sound order. I would think that the leather seats and
even floor covering (not carpet) are original, and are in excellent
condition. There is a DeLux folding hood with hood cover, and also
full length tonneau cover. It has been fitted with the slightly later
5 bearing engine, which is a benefit to all but the most hardy anorak.
The car has recently arrived, and we are very happy with it. The driving
experience is just as it should be, and the car has a lovely exhaust
note.
We really like this car. Being an early example it would be welcome
at many events that a later car misses.
