MG TD 1953
This is a smart original UK right hand drive TD from the last year of production. The colour combination of Green body and Green leather with a Tan hood and weather equipment really suits it. There is a full split tonneau too. The attractive original registration is included and remains transferrable (we hope you won't).
We purchased the car directly from the family who were quite attached to the old thing. The car just required a little refresh and is now ready to go again. Looking at the file it is an older restoration that had an engine rebuild in 2012. It has regularly covered only a few hundred miles a year since the late 1980s, and remains in excellent condition.
We will put the car through an MOT and general check over on sale just to make sure that all is safe and sound. This is a car that we could easily ask over £ 20,000 for and be confident of a sale. The market is quiet and we have been able to keep the price really low, so take advantage while you can. This is a delightful period driving experience quite unlike a modern car - surely that's the point?

The TD may not be the most valuable of T Series, but does have many merits. It is the first with independent front suspension and rack & pinion steering so drives so much better than earlier models.
As with most cars of the period the vast majority were sold to North America in Left Hand Drive. This car being original UK Right Hand Drive is rare and desirable.
