MG RV8 1995

We have possibly sold more RV8s than anyone else in the UK. This is stock number 141 although some of these we have owned more than once - like this car in fact. Our man in Japan purchased this car for us from it's original owner in 2006 - photo of the hand-over on file. We subsequently imported the car to the UK. It was sold immediately to the previous owner who became the 1st and only UK registered keeper. The mileage then was 6,400 Klms or 4,000 Mls. Today the car has still only covered 22,000 Klms or 13,750 Mls and has lead a truly pampered life.

The screen frame was wax injected in 2006 and is still excellent. All service and handbooks etc. are present along with the original owner's wallet. The owner has kept impeccable records of service work etc. The original spare wheel, jack etc. and cover are there along with the original hood bag and tools. There are also original overmats and a factory full length tonneau plus hood cover. The original number plate plynths and Rover badges are in place, although these can easily be removed if required.

This is one special RV8. They are increasingly hard to find in this condition and it is sure to be in high demand. You won't find better.  STOP PRESS: H&H have just sold an RV8 for a tad over £ 40,000. We assure you no better than this!

SOLD

The RV8 was a great concept possibly launched at the wrong time. With a Rover 3.9 litre fuel injected V8 coupled to a five speed gearbox in a rust protected stylish body, with luxurious leather trim and in Japan at least air conditioning - what's not to like?

Rare too with around 2,000 cars only having been produced. A cruiser not a racer, but no worse for that.
