MGC GT 1968

First registered in March 1968. Fitted with a four speed manual transmission plus overdrive. Our car features Minilite style alloy wheels that suit it well, and has the correct ally bonnet.

There is a large history file with the car including invoices for work completed over the years, and some 22 past MOT certificates going back to the early 1980s. The body and paintwork are excellent with good panel gaps etc. The interior is clean and tidy and the chrome very decent.

We drove the car some thirty miles today with no problems being evident. C's have a character all their own. The fabled poor handling just doesn't seem an issue today, and they are a very pleasant companion for classic car outings. The overdrive gearbox plus the lazy six cylinder engine make for relaxed progress. They have considerably more power than the MGB though with far better cruising ability.

We have just reduced the price to £ 16,950 making it exceptional value. Come and try it and see if you agree.

There was a limited production run of only 4,457 MGC GTs before the model was dis-continued in 1969. They are far better appreciated today than when new, and are much sort after.

The lusty six cylinder 3 litre engine fed by twin SU carburettors developed some 145bhp, enough for a top speed around 120 mph.
